Master Developer Apps built Moedex - Currency Exchange Rates as an ad-supported application. This Service is provided by Master Developer Apps and is intended for use as is.

Information We Do Not Require

Moedex does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, postal address, phone number, financial account credentials, or payment card information to use the application.

Information Stored on Your Device

Some information related to your use of Moedex is stored locally on your device. Exchange-rate alert conditions configured in the application are evaluated locally on your device. Moedex does not require an account or a server-side user profile to store these alert preferences.

Removing the application or clearing its application data may remove locally stored preferences, alerts, and cached information.

Exchange Rate Data and Network Communication

Moedex communicates with our application programming interface (API) to obtain current and historical exchange-rate information and to provide features that depend on updated currency data.

As with ordinary internet communications, technical information such as an IP address, request date and time, and other network-related information may be processed by internet infrastructure and hosting providers when your device communicates with the Service.

Moedex uses Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand how the application is used and to improve its functionality, reliability, and user experience.

Analytics information may include application interactions, sessions, application version, device characteristics, approximate location derived from IP address, identifiers, and other technical or usage information as provided by Google Analytics for Firebase.

Where required by applicable law, the processing of analytics information may depend on your consent choices.

Crash Reporting and Diagnostics

Moedex uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes, errors, and technical problems. Crashlytics may process diagnostic and technical information such as crash traces, application state, device and operating system information, application version, identifiers, and information related to the circumstances of a crash.

We use this information to diagnose problems and improve the stability and reliability of Moedex.

Firebase Cloud Messaging

Moedex uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to support the delivery of application data and updates used by certain features of the Service.

Firebase may process technical information required to provide this functionality, such as application version information, Firebase installation identifiers, and other technical information necessary for message delivery.

Locally configured exchange-rate alert thresholds and conditions are not sent to our server as part of the Moedex alert system. Alert evaluation is performed locally on your device using available exchange-rate data.

Firebase Remote Config

Moedex uses Firebase Remote Config to remotely provide certain application configuration values and operational notices without requiring a new application release. Technical information necessary for Firebase to provide this functionality may be processed by Google.

Notifications

Moedex may display notifications related to features such as exchange-rate alerts. Where the Android operating system requires notification permission, you can allow or deny that permission and later change it through your device settings.

Your locally configured exchange-rate alerts are intended to provide convenience only and should not be relied upon for financial, investment, trading, or other time-sensitive decisions.

Data Retention

Information stored locally by Moedex remains on your device until it is replaced, cleared, or removed through application or device actions.

Information processed by third-party service providers is subject to their respective retention policies and privacy practices. We do not control the retention periods independently established by those providers.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Service and use established service providers for important infrastructure and application functionality. Network communications involving the Service are designed to use secure connections where supported.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
